Kelsey Armitage
Trial Manager
Kelsey has a BSc in Psychology and has worked in clinical research since graduating in 2011, first as a Data Coordinator at the NIHR Clinical Research Facility at Sheffield Teaching Hospital before moving to a Clinical Research Assistant role, working on genetic studies, at the Sheffield Children's Hospital. In 2014, a move to Manchester, meant a new role as a Trial Coordinator at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, working on lung cancer trials and in 2016 a promotion lead a move to NIHR Manchester Clinical Research Facility (Wythenshaw), working as a Clinical Trials Officer. Kelsey joined the Primary Health Care Clinical Trials Unit at the University of Oxford in 2021.
- I am currently the Trial Manager on the STAR-CAT Trial - SupporTing pARents and their autistic Children through Anxiety Treatment
- I joined the CTU in Jul 2021 as a Trial Manager on the ALABAMA Trial - Allergy Antibiotics and Microbial Resistance.
- Before joining the PHC CTU I have worked in clinical research for over 12 years, in many varied roles, and in many disease groups, including Oncology, Cardiology, Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Infection, Allergy, Endocrinology, Genetics, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Phase I studies.
