Clinical Trials Unit
World-Leading Centre for Primary Care Research
The Primary Care Clinical Trials Unit at the University of Oxford is a world-leading centre for primary care research, conducting high-quality clinical trials to improve patient and community health. Part of the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, the unit focuses on key research areas such as infectious diseases, cardiovascular health, and behavioural medicine.
Working closely with nurses and doctors who provide primary healthcare services, the unit is able to better understand the needs and challenges of patients and develop evidence-based solutions that are tailored to their unique needs.
By taking part in a clinical trial, patients have the opportunity to receive cutting-edge treatments and interventions that may not yet be widely available. Our team is committed to ensuring that our clinical trials are conducted to all regulatory requirements, with the highest standards of safety, ethics and data protection.
