Our current recruiting trials
What is a clinical trial?
Clinical trials are research studies in which people volunteer to help find answers to specific health questions. They are the primary way that researchers determine if a new form of treatment or prevention, such as a new drug, diet, or medical device, is safe and effective in people. Clinical trials are a way to test new methods of diagnosing, treating, or preventing health conditions. In primary health care, trials address common conditions, informing evidence-based practices for improving patient care and public health within community settings.
What you need to know
By taking part in a clinical trial, you have the opportunity to receive cutting-edge treatments and interventions that may not yet be widely available. You will contribute directly to advancing medical knowledge, improving patient care, and make a significant difference in shaping the future of healthcare.
Results of trials we have run
The studies conducted in our Clinical Trials Unit have been instrumental in shaping primary care practices and improving patient outcomes. Completed studies have advanced medical knowledge, evaluated new treatments, and informed evidence-based guidelines.
